Magnificent Effort

I wish to record my deep gratitude for the magnificent effort made by Douglas Macarthur concerning the sale of my investment property. Douglas was familiar with the property and had always been willing to give valuable advice regarding its upkeep and presentation . When I made the decision to sell I was anxious that Douglas should be involved and was delighted when he agreed. 

From the moment the property was placed on the market Douglas was indefatigable in its promotion. He was present at each of the six advertised “Open House” occasions and was always happy to oblige when clients have wanted to return for a private second look. He spent literally many hours in responding to ‘phone calls from interested viewers and in keeping me informed of the intricacies of the way the property was “tracking” during the lead-up to the auction date.

Largely as a result of the friendly, efficient and frankly honest way Douglas presented the property a significant number of the registered bidders took part in the auction and a very pleasing price, well above the reserve, was achieved.

It is no wonder so many of Douglas’s clients become his friends.
